Effectiveness in the most senior roles in health and care systems calls for skills that are required of leaders at all levels: creating a common purpose, leading with compassion, working in partnership and managing complexity.

Senior leaders carry additional pressures arising from increased responsibility, accountability, and strategic focus. It is not easy to plan for the future in VUCA (Volatile, Uncertain, Complex and Ambiguous) conditions. It is challenging to take up a leadership role in a complex system.

This workshop is aimed at senior leaders, aspiring executive leaders and those new to such roles where you will explore:

• How to work with complex relationships across organisational, structural and professional boundaries
• Explore ways to lead change when you may lack positional power to command and control, through stakeholder analysis and management, understanding individual influencing styles
• Apply the learning to be more influential over the longer term in a system context.
