Presenting with Power, Impact and Empathy

This interactive virtual workshop will hone and enhance your skills when speaking at conferences or public meetings.  You will learn techniques that will help you speak and present with impact, assurance, and empathy.

Overview

You will learn how to capture the audience’s attention, maintain their interest and inspire them.  Using techniques to show how to make the seemingly mundane interesting and show how to develop “dry data” into real stories that inspire and move your audience.

What will the session cover?

You will learn how to:

  • Handle all aspects of public speaking, from developing key messages, to handling difficult questions and dealing with challenging behaviour
  • Simplify your messages and discuss these clearly and reasonably
  • Find and develop areas of consensus and harmony, despite potential strong differences of opinion
  • Develop techniques for reducing nerves, as well as demonstrating how to relax under pressure.

The workshop will empower you with the skills that you need to handle all types of presentations and public speaking events with confidence and control.
