The Elizabeth Garrett Anderson (EGA) Programme is an award-winning leadership development programme designed for middle to senior level leaders responsible for other leaders and aspiring to lead large and complex programmes, departments, services, or systems of care.
About Elizabeth Garrett Anderson Local
This is a local, 2-year, Level 7 Apprenticeship management programme, for people with existing management or healthcare delivery experience. Programme delivery is designed to support participants to develop together via flexible online learning alongside residentials and tutor support, with a focus on applying your current experience to the study of leadership.
This course will:
- Develop and enhance your existing leadership practice through up-to-date theory and evidence.
- Apply learning to bring positive and productive changes to your organisations.
- Strengthen your personal leadership impact to support professional and organisational development.
- Graduate with a highly sought after leadership development qualification, improving your career and promotion prospects.
What’s included?
This apprenticeship is partially funded by the Apprenticeship Levy. Upon completion of this course you will gain a PGDip Healthcare Leadership and Chartered Manager Status with the Chartered Management Institute (CMI). This apprenticeship also comes with options to complete a MSc Healthcare Leadership, and NHS Leadership Academy Award in Senior Healthcare Leadership.

The next local cohort will be available via; Liverpool John Moores University, Senior Leader apprenticeship. This course starts in September 2024 followed by a January 2025 intake. Deadline for September applications is 12th July.
