The NHS North West Leadership Academy Networks provide a supportive space and valuable opportunity for senior leaders to connect, collaborate, and share learning. These networks foster meaningful peer relationships, encourage cross-organisational insight, and create a trusted environment where leaders can explore challenges, exchange ideas, and strengthen their leadership practice.

The North West NED network provides NEDs with a space to connect, share and thrive in a collaborative peer group

The aim of the network is to foster connection, collaboration, and development for NEDs to maximise the contribution they make across organisational boards. The network is member-led, with participants deciding on focus areas and topics such as:

  • Balancing finance, quality and patient safety.
  • Influencing beyond your role.
