Do you want to learn more about what good political leadership looks like and the skills needed to effectively navigate this arena?

This half day module will explore what we mean by a political environment; focusing on the tools, techniques, and frameworks you need to build common ground, understand boundaries, and minimise tensions, develop strategies and influence across a system.

What will the session cover?

  • Working effectively in a political environment: skills, techniques and frameworks: traps to avoid, political animals, an inquiry into our relationship to politics.
  • Learning from experience: lessons learnt, stories and insights.
  • Application of Learning: building on common ground, where are the boundaries and tensions, and how do we navigate these as leaders.

This offer will directly senior clinical and non-clinical leaders who work across systems in the North West.
