Working together to transform leadership in the North West
The North West Learning and Development Collaborative brings together organisations focused on supporting leaders to build capability, optimise development and enable integrated behaviours. We use our breadth of unique skills and expertise to support organisations and systems facing complex challenges.
The learning and development collaborative is comprised of five core organisations: the NHS North West Leadership Academy, Advancing Quality Alliance (Aqua), North West Employers (NWE), Health Innovation North West Coast and the NHS Clinical Leaders Network.
Our Support
Working together, we act as a strategic think tank to add greater value and impact for the organisations and systems we support. We use our combined insights and intelligence for collaborative sense making, to push boundaries and provoke and stimulate thought leadership.
We facilitate conversations, shape collaborative solutions for specific needs, and signpost to existing support.

We also work with other organisations across the region as our ‘collective members’ to pro-actively add value for our stakeholders and bring leaders together in cooperative spaces. We connect leaders, enabling spaces to explore different perspectives to expand and create networks for leadership development across the region.
