Strategic Influencing

Online.

This is a two-part session

Session 1 – 15th June 9:30am – 1:00pm

Session 2 – 22nd June 9:30am – 1:00pm

Overview

This workshop will provide you with an increased understanding of your influencing style, and will explore how to improve your influencing skills and techniques.

This workshop will use world-renowned psychometrics such as the Myers Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) to explore differences in communication, influencing and negotiation styles. It will also explore the type of cultures participants have to work within and hence, how they may wish to adapt their style to ensure they have maximum impact when seeking to influence within these environments.

Through small group work, you will share knowledge, feedback and peer learning.

Objectives

  • To provide participants with an increased understanding of their likely influencing style and the strengths and blind spots associated with this
  • To help participants to identify their own challenges in influencing key stakeholders
  • To enable increased understanding of the organisational cultures participants work within and how they are likely to influence strategic stakeholders within these environments
  • To develop action plans for improved influencing using the tools and techniques covered on the workshop
