Learning to excel in a VUCA environment
VUCA (Volatile, Uncertain, Complex and Ambiguous) conditions ask a lot of leaders and teams. The temptation is to grip tighter – more control, more planning, more performance of certainty leaders don’t actually have in today’s world. This in-person workshop helps NHS leaders look honestly at what’s happening in their own team, work out the three things that will make the biggest difference, and leave with simple, practical steps to take the next day. The session draws on the LeaderX Team Performance Method, developed across 20 years of work with NHS teams.
As part of this half-day, face-to-face session, delegates will:
- Build greater self-awareness as a leader, so you can notice your own patterns under pressure and lead with more intention.
- Take an honest look at your own team, using the three patterns that drive team performance under VUCA: clarity, connection and intention.
- Leave with three practical actions to take back to your team the next day, supported by peer connection with NHS leaders navigating the same conditions.
