Coaching CPD: Exploring the Thinking Environment
This online session provides a broad overview of Nancy Kline’s Thinking Environment, which can be applied across a wide range of professional and personal situations. The sessions are highly experiential, and offer the opportunity to use the principles of the approach in practice.
There will be time for questions, and an invitation to take the learning into the workplace, to continue exploring.
By the end of the session participants will:
- Understand the purpose and principles of Nancy Kline’s Thinking Environment.
- Have experienced the roles of ‘Thinker’ and ‘Thinking Partner’.
- Understand some of the key applications of the Thinking Environment, including its use in meetings, and other work settings.
- Have an opportunity to ask questions of the facilitator, an experienced Thinking Environment consultant.
Requirements: This session is for registered coaches on the NHS NWLA Coaching and Mentoring Hub.
