SUMMARY:Coaching CPD: Career coaching
DESCRIPTION:This session is designed around the realities facing NHS coaches and their coachees right now. With restructures\, workforce pressures\, and significant personal and professional change across the system\, coaches need tools that are immediately applicable\, grounded\, and sensitive to context. The session provides four practical career coaching tools\, grouped into two thematic halves. \nPlease note this workshop has been redesigned and expanded from last year so coaches are able to reattend for new learning outcomes even if previously attended. \nParticipants will gain practical tools and theoretical knowledge to effectively support clients in: \n\nExploring identity\, strengths\, and the internal barriers that can hold coachees back.\nExploring purpose\, direction\, and navigating career transitions.\nNew extended tools including Transitional Awareness\, The Inner Imposter and VIA Strengths.\n\nRequirements: This session is for registered coaches on the NHS NWLA Coaching and Mentoring Hub. \nBook your place

DESCRIPTION:This online session provides a broad overview of Nancy Kline’s Thinking Environment\, which can be applied across a wide range of professional and personal situations. The sessions are highly experiential\, and offer the opportunity to use the principles of the approach in practice. \nThere will be time for questions\, and an invitation to take the learning into the workplace\, to continue exploring. \nBy the end of the session participants will: \n\nUnderstand the purpose and principles of Nancy Kline’s Thinking Environment.\nHave experienced the roles of ‘Thinker’ and ‘Thinking Partner’.\nUnderstand some of the key applications of the Thinking Environment\, including its use in meetings\, and other work settings.\nHave an opportunity to ask questions of the facilitator\, an experienced Thinking Environment consultant.\n\nRequirements: This session is for registered coaches on the NHS NWLA Coaching and Mentoring Hub. \nBook your place
