Inclusive in the Workplace: Neurodiversity

Overview

This masterclass provided a space for health and adult social care leaders to better understand neurodivergence in the workplace, know how to assess if they are working in an inclusive organisation and learn how to implement change in order to become a more inclusive employer. The masterclass covered:

  • Why inclusion is important – Legality Framework etc
  • How to assess inclusion and know if you are an inclusive organisation
  • Understanding of Neurodivergence in the workplace
  • How to build inclusion in your workplace through behaviours, practices and values and become an organisation that stands for its employees

The masterclass guest speakers were:

Laurence Turner, Head of Research & Policy at GMB.

Jon Salmon, an award-winning video executive producer, a digital pioneer and a campaigner. Co-founder of branded entertainment agency Byte Entertainment and Co-CEO of the Speakers Collective.

Holly Sutcliffe, a Neurodivergent Mental Health Advocate, who works with individuals, families and institutions as an Integrated Holistic Coach.
